About

Professional portrait of Sil Studio's interior stylist, Meghan Hale

I’m drawn to interiors that evolve slowly, and spaces that feel collected over time rather than quickly perfected. Instead of perfection, I look for contrast between raw and refined, bold and quiet, or sculptural and simple. I love when clean, modern lines sit comfortably next to something salvaged, aged, or a little unusual, and I’m inspired by bold color and pattern blended carefully into otherwise quiet spaces. There’s a tension I appreciate between modern simplicity and vintage character, and that little bit of friction is what keeps a room interesting and alive.

Working with ceramics, especially hand building, has taught me to appreciate imperfection. Objects that aren’t perfectly symmetric or smooth have an honesty I deeply appreciate. I think we relax more easily in spaces that carry that same feeling; a bit of irregularity or wear, something that isn’t striving for perfection.

My goal is to create spaces that evoke the feelings people want to experience in their homes, whether that’s calm, energized, grounded, or something else entirely. I like to include small details that invite curiosity, something subtle that makes you look again.

Curious what this could look like in your home?
